I'm so glad you're here...
Hi, I'm Amanda and this is my handsome gelding Ru. I fell in love with horses and riding at age seven. Riding gives me a sense of freedom that lifts my spirit and inspires me, yet a sense of home that steadies my soul. I have partnered with many horses throughout my riding career, including my charming Thoroughbred gelding Billy. Billy has retired from showing and participates in my lesson program and is the best trail horse on the farm! Ru (aka "True North") is my newest teammate in the sand box. His show name describes his personality perfectly, always keeping me aligned and grounded, no matter where the ride leads. Ru is the horse of a lifetime, and I am so blessed to have him. We are excited to share our journey with you, as you let us be a part of yours!
What We Do
The Tailored horse delivers a custom-curated gift box, right to your barn door! Each Tailored Horse box is hand-selected, featuring thoughtfully chosen items that promote nutrition, wellness and performance for the Sport Horse and rider. We also provide uniquely crafted Pony Boxes with selections catering to the junior rider and their beloved ponies. We proudly source from other local and small businesses, supporting our community with every shipment. All boxes will include feed and supplement samples, gourmet horse treats, riding attire and accessories. Our team (my daughters and I, and our horses) personally test all of our products and feel they are too good not to share. That's why we created The Tailored Horse.
